Don’t think for a minute that we’re going to lose the supercar stunts we know and love, and see them replaced by the charms of a Kia Cee’d economy run, but Top Gear, in common with the rest of the Beeb, is having its budget cut – apparently. BMW has filmed endless hours of footage of different drivers around the world getting to grips with the i3, and they’ve whittled that down to a compelling 1:37 video, much of which shows the reactions of drivers in the UK.
Chevrolet has been dropping stats about its new Corvette every so often, and the latest to come down the pike are its fuel economy ratings. The Corvette Stingray's EPA estimated rating of 17 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway makes it 11 percent more fuel efficient than the previous Corvette. These ratings are for the Corvette equipped with the all new seven-speed manual transmission.
